Community Foundation of Mississauga Competitive Grants

The Community Foundation of Mississauga 2023 Grant Round is now CLOSED. Applications are not being accepted at this time.

The Community Foundation of Mississauga offers grants in the following four funding streams:

  • Pendle Fund

Larger grants offered between $5,000 and $30,000.

Supports projects in multiple focus areas.

  • Hazel McCallion Fund for Arts, Culture and Heritage

Grants offered up to maximum of $10,000.

Supports projects in arts, culture and heritage only.

  • Novo Nordisk Diabetes & Obesity Fund

Grants offered to a maximum of $15,000.

Grants will be awarded to applicants undertaking initiatives aimed at:

1. Tackling the rise of type 2 diabetes and obesity through disease prevention, stabilization, and management interventions that support vulnerable populations.

2. Addressing health disparities and improving health equity and health outcomes for people from Indigenous, Black/African/Caribbean, and South Asian communities living with, or at an elevated risk of developing diabetes and obesity.

  • Smart and Caring Children and Youth Fund

Grants offered up to a maximum of $3,000.

Supports programs or projects that are in support of children and youth.

Suitable for all programs and projects that benefit children and youth in Mississauga.
